Cancellation, Withdrawal & Refund Policy
How to cancel within the seven-day cancellation period and how later withdrawals and refunds are reviewed.
Effective for Independent Student EnrollmentLast updated: October 30, 2026
Seven-day cancellation
Students may cancel within seven calendar days of enrollment for a 100% refund of amounts paid, subject to applicable law and any greater legal rights. Cancellation must be sent in writing to terrence@mitchellsinstitute.org.
This is MILD's current voluntary student-facing policy.
How to cancel
Send a written cancellation to terrence@mitchellsinstitute.org that includes your full name and the email address used to enroll. The date MILD receives your email is the cancellation date. MILD will confirm receipt.
Withdrawal after seven days
Students may request withdrawal after the seven-day period. Any refund or withdrawal treatment will consider amounts paid, course access and services already provided, and applicable legal rights. MILD will respond in writing.
Nonpayment
If a scheduled installment is not paid, future course stages remain locked until the required cumulative payment is received. Completed coursework is not removed.
Administrative withdrawal
MILD may administratively withdraw a student for fraud, serious or repeated conduct violations, or nonpayment, after notice and an opportunity to respond where appropriate.
Hardship and exceptions
Students facing hardship or unusual circumstances may request an exception review in writing. MILD reviews each request individually.
Refund method
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through the payment processor.
Your legal rights
Nothing in this policy waives any right you have under applicable law.
Applicable law
MILD policies are subject to applicable law. Where the law gives you greater rights than these terms, those legally required rights control.
